Well, Weeks ago, my convicts had fry, I was letting the parents take care of them, soon, they only had 2 little ones. I siphoned them and put them in my empty ten. It has been 2 weeks, and i still have the 2. They are just starting to grow a body. I figured thy where big enough to eat tubifex worms, so i got a freeze dried cube and banded it to a rock. I see them eating it little by little. I have had to do no maitence for 2 weeks. they are on a full power 10 G filter, with no protection, but they are smart enough to stay on the other side. ! 10G just for 2 little convicts. Is it worth it.
Also, in the 45, where the cons are, there has been allot less light and more feeders guppies (they share the tank with a 6" Clown knife.) well, most of them have been brave enough to swim past the divider, and bunk with the knife (he dosent toch em.) on the other side, they bred again. I turn on the lights to see it, and there is a giant vibrating see thru gray mass of fry. I think this will be my best spawn yet. there is on or to cons in there to keep them on there toes, but not too many to make them paranoyed.
