Is killi fish commercial scam ?

I always liked killi fish and i just saw this bff comercial crap about getting killi fish eggs and i was wondering if this had any chance of panning out at all cause i would at least like to rescue some fish. It's a real shame how they half to abuse the fish by selling them off the tv with out even listing the speicies of fish and sending 8 of them in a half gallon jug with out listing the full size or dietary or water needs.But i would still like to know if i could possibly hatch the eggs or is it a giant scam.

They should hatch if they're good eggs, some killifish have some unique methods of reproducing for the dry/wet seasons--one species can even live in TREES.

i've never seen a killie commercial, are they selling the eggs or the fish? but i actually just hatched out a handful of killies of mixed species i bought on ebay and they're doing well so-far. i have more waiting to develop & hatch soon. i had to re-wet the current batch twice [diapause is fickle] but with good results. they're in their hatching tray with java moss now :> it was a lot of fun watching the cycle happen.
