A dumb-ass sprayed insecticide who's active ingredient is lemon grass oil in the same room as my fish pond and tank. I can't find any info using Google so I ask here for help.

If it's the same lemon grass people use while cooking as a flavor enhancer, then no, it isn't poisonous. How are your fish? Any film on the surface of the water? Done any water changes yet as a precaution? Do you use carbon in your filtration system? Better to be proactive than just wait to see what happens!

I just put fresh activated carbon in the pond, I had just gotten home from school in the past half hour. It seems that it is only in the air, but I do have the room air and water mix to oxygenate the pond so hence my worry. I won't be able to do water change til tomorrow morning.

Yah, I think it is the same species of lemon grass as the flavor enhancer. I sure hope your right because I would rather have to just talk to this person( that they need my person to spray aerosols in my room) instead of further actions.

What was he spraying for? I can't find where any pest control company use lemon grass oil, just orange oil.

they bought it at osh and they used it because they're paranoid and have a bug phobia.

1. Do water change (checked) 2. Add carbon (checked) 3. Kick his butt (proceeding)
