i posted a few days ago asking if these were possible male and female. today i put them in a 110g tank with a few other tankmates and they have been hanging out together alot more. the female has also darkened up alot in the 12 hrs or so since i put her in the new tank.

not too much experience keeping them but I'd say it definitely looks like you could have a male and female...female on the left and male on the right. good luck with them. :)

looking great and definitely male and female. I had to use a divider when i had only two in a tank til my males were larger thatn females cause the females grew faster and were more aggressive. as for lay outs all you need is something for each one to call home, wether its a pot, cave or whatever. if things dont start working out for you since you only have to they may have differences lol. try dividing them for 48 hrs allowing them to establish their own territory then pull the divider and i bet you see different results;) when i had 15 or so in my 125 i just made sure each one had their own place. it was kind of cute, they all staked out territory within 6" of their pots or cave and wouldnt bother each other unlike other species ive raised where that wasnt possible

Yep, a pair. Keep a divider handy just in case. Congrats
