Most Sturgeon foods are sold in the UK, and buying from hatcheries in the US... Well, they usually only sell 40 to 50 pound bags.

The only difference I see in the ingredients between Massivore and Hikari Sturgeon food is the fat. Everything else is almost identical.

Thoughts?

If I remember correctly, there is a vendor on the forum that sells hikari sturgeon in smaller portions cheaper than you can buy massivore. I can't remember who though... Someone may chime in soon with his name.

Come on man, really? I gave you all of the info needed to find what you were looking for, and you didn't even attempt to find it. If you would've tried one little bit, you surely would've found it....It came up 2nd on the list in the search when I searched hikari sturgeon in the vendor forum. In the time it took you to post that you were "still curious", you could've already found what you were looking for. There's no reason to get mad at me because you are lazy. :shakehead

Also, I think we are a tight knit community, and we do help each other out. I just gave you a source of Sturgeon food for almost half the price of Massivore on a silver platter. I can't help it that you are ungrateful and don't have much self motivation. I can only try to motivate you to do better next time. Good luck with your sturgeon, my friend!

I gotta agree with Piscine.

Back to sturgeon feed, if you want to shorten your sturgeons life then by all means go for the cheaper Sturgeon feed. Just because the levels seem exactly the same doesn't mean the same ingredients are used. I'm not a big fan of Hikari, but I can say their food is better than sturgeon feed..

Good luck not being an ass next time when someone wants a little new discussion on a subject, seeing as new Sturgeon feeds from commercial farms are popping up as of late, and an OLD thread is not going to have the absolute most up to date information, which is what I wanted.

What OLD thread are you talking about? All of that price information should still be good, as the vendor recently bumped the thread. I'm sure he can easily & happily answer any nutritional questions that you may have, as he sells both of the foods you asked about.

Calm down with the cursing and name calling. You are in no way hurting my feelings or making me feel bad, so the only person that stands to lose when you do that is you... There's no reason to get yourself in trouble because you aren't happy with the manner in which you recieved your answer.
