I'm refurbing a 250. I wet sanded the entire tank and I'm using PlastX on the outside.
I was wondering if it's safe to buff the inside with PlastX.

I believe it is, I've heard of people using other Meguairs products on tanks not a 100% sure in regard to Plastix I have used Novus with good results. wednesday13 wednesday13 would know

Thanks!
Also I'm pretty sure it will leave residue. What works best besides vinegar?

I think i need to start all over again inside the tank. @wednessday13

theres just TONS of calcification causing a haze. I started out with the power hand sander, and went all the way through all the grits by hand 3 times, and theres still a fog. I can definitely feel it and it makes a shhoooshing sound.

i plastered the areas around the bottom, sides and back with vinegar soaked paper towels and let it sit for 12 hours and it barely touched it. I also have and odd calcification in ALL the inside corners, AS WELL as TAPE!
WHO puts tape on a tank???
Christ!
Heres pics of the progress. I'm tearing into the left inside wall while im waiting for guidance.

The haze is nutz! Ive sanded this thing for 72 hours at least. Vinegar is useless to stop it.
