is more filtration better

I have a 29 gallon fish only freshwater tank. It has a Marineland 150 BIO-wheel filter. It's rated for a max of 30 gallons. Would it be a good idea to either get a bigger filter or add and additional filter top the tank? I have 3 platys and 2 cory cats in it now but I do want to add more fish once the tank i Also I have the heard a better filter than the Bio-wheel is the Aqua Clear any opinions regarding which is better is the long run./

The aqua clear is a very good filter they move good amounts of water, quiet and versatile. You probably won't over filter and I wouldn't worry about it
