i have two 1" JD's in my tank and 4 smaller fish (1swordtail,1red wagtail platy,2 oranda) my girlfriend and her daughter picked them.... anyways, i just crush up some cichlid gold to feed them all but those damn orandas never stop eating... the JD's only seem to like feeding when the food is moving, once it hits the bottom they don't really want anything to do with it... how do i know there getting enough. thanx

Keep an eye on their thickness. If they seem like a crack addict then you need to worry. JD's are good eaters so you shouldn't have any probs. They'll eventually start to go after what you're feeding them. Sounds like their just tryingto be choosy!

thanx man, they seem to be a good thickness, i'll keep an eye on them, i feed them 2, 3 times daily...is that safishent.

Yeah thats pretty good with the hungry eaters that you do have. Good luck! You should post some pix too!
