I currently have 2 14" oscars in my tank along with a 8" Green severum a 8"Jack Dempsey and 2 silver dollars, they have all been in the tank for well over a year. I have not had any problems with them fighting all. the tank is filtered with a rena xp3 and a fluval FX5. The tank is also not cluttered with decorations either just a piece of driftwood as i cannot find a way to keep plastic plants clean. If it is overstocked should i keep it the way it is or look to trade some fish in for some store credit this spring?

Honestly with the filtration you have, you can pretty much do whatever you want haha

if you could though, pics would be great :D

here are some older pics

oscars names are Rocky (Tiger oscar) and Sherbert (red oscar)

Green Severum named Goldie as he or she used to be gold when i first got em.
If anyone has any idea of what the sex of the Green might be that would be great.

Jack Dempsey he is a rescue from a friend who had two oscars in 50 gallon with 4 convicts and a dragon fish along with other misc fish in the tank.

i was hoping his fins would heal up but apparently he took so much abuse that they permanently look like that i treated him for 4 months with melafix and some aquarium salt in my hospital tank that i had set up for when i used to keep piranhas. His fins still to this day look the same.

only fish I don't have pics of is the silver dollars

Real nice fish man, Hope my Red Oscar eventually looks that good :P

nice tank and i think the severum is a male but i have to see a better pic to know for sure...

Fish look good.... hope my sev looks as good as yours when he gets older.
