I just stocked my 55. It has an 8"" JD who is EXTREMELY passive, a 2" con who has lived with the JD his whole life, and 2 new fish, a 1.5" Texas, and a 1.5" Blue Acara. The last 2 are gifts from my girlfriend, and I couldn't say no, so I threw them in. The texas and the BA locked jaws for a minute, but for the past three days, all has been well. Am I playing with gasoline?

If the JD will not kill everyone know, the Texas sure as hell will. JD and the rest should be fine in a 55 but the Texas would need to be moved as it will out-grow the 55.

Nice present, I want a Texas. :(

Texas do like to "stir the pot" and will likely become a problem. The Blue acura shouldn't cause any problems though.

are the JD and texas likley to be ok... keep in mind that the JD is an adult and the texas is a baby.... will they be ok for the duration?

hate to break it to yah but your tanks going to EXPLODE EVERYWHERE SELF DESTRUCT LIKE A NUKE BABY....... so your best bet would be to give it all to me and u wont have to worry about it ok :)

i agree the only prob with the tank is the texas... it may be fine now but once it reaches 4 inches or so it will become territorial and just an all around a-hole
