Is my arowana sic or lazy

Every once in a while my 8in silver aro goes to the bottom of the tank and sits there for a few min. It seems to be only when im watching him right in front of the tank.So is something wrong or does he just get tired of watching me watch him? water temp 78, ph 7.6,amonia 0,nitrite 0,nitrate less than 5 ppm

Ive had him for teo weeks i just got him to take a shrimp from my hand about 5min ago

i would bump to 80
when under a foot they are a bit scared i think.
if he is eating that is a good sign.
just keep an eye on it.

sounds fairly normal for a young aro... after they reach 18" to 20" a switch seems to go off in thier heads and they become MUCH more personable with thier owners...
