IS MY AXOLOTL OK?

is my axolotl ok?.. is this a tumor?.. if this isn't healthy..how can i help him??... he's in a 20 gallon tall..with a gigantic sponge filter and whisper 60gal airpump...

if you didn't know i'm talking about the tumor "bump" behind it's hind legs..

Did you watch at the "tumor" grew slowly. Or did you just wake up one day, and saw a big ol ugly thing sticking out of your ax?

If you look at his toes they should also be darkening on the tips.

haha no...but i noticed his tail is turning kinda red...is that normal too?? still eating fine..

What kind of red has his tail turned to? It's normal that axolotls get this black pigmentation in their faces during time but red does sound a bit weird in my opinion.

I have two white coloured axos and one time my girl got bitten by other one in the tank and her wound got inflamed and it was all red - and had to be put on medication to get better - but I don't know if that's the case in your situation.

Axos also may produce these mole like small red spots on their skin, but they're harmless
