I just adopted this large bala shark that someone dropped off at my work. His eyes are milky.. does he look blind?

I don't think hes blind yet. He has hope. With frequent water changes and good water quality his eyes should clear up. I've got a really old bala that was given to me that has a white pupil and I though he was blind. But amazingly he apparently can see just fine.
Thanks. I was reading it could be because of poor water quality or nutrition. Who knows what kind of condition this poor guy was kept in before I got him.
It should be fine in a stable tank. I have seen that in my own tank from ammonia spikes. Just give him excellent water conditions and good food and within a week or so. He will be good as new. Good luck!

look closely into his eye. if it's white inside it's blind. sometimes blind fish are the most fun to watch, i had a blind fish once and it was so funny watching him bump into things.
