OK guys,

I have a male and female clown plec they are one a diet of wood, plants, algea wafers and zuchini, the temp is at 28c and i did a water change 2 days ago. I have realised that my female is really fat and might be full of eggs and the water changes might have triggered the spawn?. I have talked to a well known and experienced fish specialist about this a few moments ago and he said that its probably the case. your thoughts?

Ask any questions cause this is so random to have clownies breeding in my 3x2x2 native tank with like 26 fish lol

Sounds like it would be a good idea to find a place where she will be comfortable to spawn then. It is usually easy enough to tell if they are expecting if you know your individual fish from observation. I hope so, and good luck. Hope any offspring doesn't become feeders.

Also i got some pics of them while i was transfering the adults, and yes i know that it is stressing the fish out majorly, but its better than haveing the babies become feeders, so im sorta taking a risk here lol.

Now you cant rally see her bulge alot, but shes the bigger one and she cant even swim properly shes so fat, she just sits there.
