Is my eel okay ? First time keeper of this species

I was told to feed it frozen blood worms. I haven’t been able to get it to eat anything else. The first day it arrived home about a week and a half ago he ate one piece of shrimp for me and has since refused to eat anything but frozen blood worms

So I’m assuming the bulge is a bad thing or just a full belly ? Considering their bellies are up in that area

Keep tossing in a shrimp because when eel mature frozen bloodworm may not be enough nutrients. Hopefully it's not bloated.

Yeah I hope so also there’s a fish keeper on YouTube by the name of Zach Hoover. He bought an eel a while back and I remember in a video he posted his eel was bloated just like mine around the same size as well. I look through his channel and he never posted another video of it so I’m assuming that it died I tried to ask him if his eel ended up dying from that, but I never got an answer back.

I personally would skip a day to see if the bloating goes down.
