Hi guys, I have a fluval 206 canister filter for a 50 gallon tank with a flowerhorn in it. Is the filter strong enough? Thanks

It's only rated for 45 gallons. You could add a HOB filter. If you don't want to add another filter then make sure you are doing large enough weekly wc's to keep water parameters stable.

Not enough filtration for a flowerhorn, I recommend picking up an aquaclear 110 and using that along with your current filter to filter the tank. A flowerhorn might also get a bit big for a 50 gallon tank, so you might want to upgrade to a 75 or 90, that will also help to dilute the waste
