Is My Filter Working Right?

so my tank is 55g and one side of the tank is very clear the other side isnt doing as well the bits just fall to the botum of the tank and sit there cant see it in the video but u can see what i have in it turn down the sound i used my web cam to make the videos its a little scrachy some times

Try getting the filter closer to the middle of the tank. or, add another filter.

any idea what would be a good one any thing from 40-140 dont want to go to cheep and 140 is the most i can spend a week on my pets lol

sponge filters powered by air pump get a strong air pump put one on the dirty end and one in the middle problem solved

i used a marineland 400 on my 55g... thats right 400gph.

400gph o.o wow i might go with that, i just called my pet store where i bought the tank and filter, he said it was fine i must be doing something wrong so i went and set it all back up same thing i dont think he understands what hes talking about

he dont if i heard right you said 55gph... i like a turn over rate of at least 10 times an hour... but thats just me.

they have a 280 gph which would be fine but i think the 400 is only like $10 more. you can find one for like $50.
