Hey everyone, i see all those lovely flowerhorns out there and i also see some ugly ones with no colour over the internet. Ive been really pleased with mine since i got him but i cant make my mind up if hes nice or not

so i would like some opinions :) thanks

there you are, i have no clue what breed he is, i tried to work it out when he was smaller but got confused, he was imported from Singapore.

Id be really happy to have a flowerhorn like that. its good as long as you like it. And Ugly is different to different people, some will say if its not show quality its ugly or if its a flowerhorn its ugly
 
Reminds me of a festae. Looks great. Try a little color food and morning sunlight. He'll only get prettier from here.
 
I think as far as flowerhorns go, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have a ZZ that keeps getting better looking as he grows. He's got a nasty attitude already and he's just about 5.5"s.

What do you feed yours? I feed mine Hikari Cichlid Gold mini pellets, NLS Thera A+, frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp with spirulina, peas and the occasional live treat.
 
I feed him Hikari gold pellets and sometimes shrimps, ive never ever seen FH for sale so as soon as i saw a few in my lfs i grabbed one and this is how he turned out, apparently he was imported from a big breeder in singapore, does anybody know what kind of breed he is? i havent really seen any that look like mine

and wow thanks everyone i was sure he was pretty ugly as far as FH's go
