Is my gar a gator?

I have bought a 16-18" gar, i was sold it as a florida gar but a few people have told me it looks like an alligator gar.
Can any of the gar experts on here help me out, i have attached a couple of pics. I hope they help.

Thanks for the kind words but i hate you for saying its a gator lol (jk)
I dont have room for a full grown gator how quickly will it outgrow my 350G or whats a gators growth rate after 18"

Cheers, i like it too i had to chop some branches off but the bark looks good and it suits my fish, makes it look really nice and natural, if i didnt have a dat pulcher id put leaves in too but i think leaves would softem the water and lower the ph too much for the pulcher (soon to be 2 pulchers )

Thanks a lot it is a really nice fish but i dont want all my fish eating, it seems fine atm hasnt show any aggression to anything else, long may it continue!
