Hi, I have 5 juvie green terrors(set up in my signature below), I have one alpha male that's showing the most colors from the rest. The thing is, I think it paired up with the least colorful one of the bunch, which is very dark in color(dark grey - almost black). The other 3 are so-so color-wise.

The reason why I think they're paired up is because the alpha chases the rest away while it just goes close to the other w/o attacking it.

Any insight on this? Thank you.

P.S. My main concern is the one that's dark in color; it does still have an orange band and the teal on its face.

They are around 2 inches.

I'm still not sure whether they are paired or not. Maybe it's just hiding its colors to avoid getting harassed?

Thank you.

I didn't know they could start breeding at their size.

I'll try to make their bond stronger by keeping the rest in there for now, I don't think they can do much harm at their current size.

What worries me more are the Silver Dollars since they are such pigs. Will they eat the eggs?

i would seperate them from the rest of the tankmates. if you have an extra tank or know someone who does i would move the tankmates into the extra tnak until the babies are old enough to find new homes for! good luck with the babies!

Thank you, I'll see what I can do. :)
