Hey all. I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me if my saum is a male or female. I bought him when he was only a couple inches and he's now almost 7" about 2 years later. I thought he was a male because he is quite colorful and large relative to his tankmates at the lfs but now i'm not so sure as he is almost 2 and doesn't really have a nuchal hump. Anyone?

It does seem female, but the orange in its tail makes me think otherwise, usually from what ive seen its only the bright on males... but it doesnt have the hump on it's head.. whether or not that means it just hasn't grown or not though... but i will still go and say female..

I believe males have more coloration in the fins (At least this is what I was told when I asked everyone to sex my GT). Yours looks like its lacking, making it look like a female to me. Still a great looking GT. Heres a pic of mine at 3 1/2 in.
