Hey guys, so I got some guppies, 3 actually, and so I saw that the male was never harassing the females which is good. I have come to notice a black spot above the bottom fins, kinda where the stomach meets the tail..... isn't that supposed to be a sign of fry to come?!?!? I have not noticed them getting any bigger, but, what do I know. Any help here would be great, and feel free to ask me any questions..

Thanks again!

Yes there are, one male and two females and both females have the spot, I have heard it called the gravid spot?

Ok one more thing!I really want these fry to survive but do not have another tank set up! The only other one in the house is a 2 gallon with a betta that I cant move into my 10 community because he fights with the gouramis!!! I need help!!

Then what?? I know how they work..... I would put the guppiesin and when the baby's come out they would fall out the holes in the bottom, haha perfect solution, oh wait I HAVE A CARNIVOROUS, or omnivorous whatever gouramis!!

if its female its pregnant.
breeding traps often stress them out.Setup another tank.
if you dont have space or $ for another tank put lots of plants in the tank, some will make it.

I already have a decently planted tank with two live plants and 3 fake ones..... enough? Isn't a breeder better than nothing?!?
