Is my heater flawed ?

I got a hydor theo heater yesterday (100 watt for my ten gallon fry tank)
While it works like a charm the background (the red part with the writing looks like it has water coming in. Its darker in some spots and it definitely looks off. Anyone verify if there hydor is this way or not this way? The red back ground is where it is most noticeable.

(Slips the heater out of the tank while reading....) Im gonna return it to be safe obviously. I paid a pretty penny for this damn thing and now I might upgrade to the Rena unit anyone use them ?

I just pulled my heater out and water drained out the bottom. I guess its jacked.

just bought one and taking it back its a 100 watt cant even get a 20 gal up to 80 thought id save a little $ only need to heat the tank for about 3 months oh well time for another stealth

Really ? So mine does have water in it.... damn thing cost like 25 bucks I could have had a 200 watt stealth I am raising hell at pet smart.
