Personally, I think the tank should be bigger:)

yeah id get rid of those JD's before they get too big so that good lookin oscar can enjoy his water properly

OK growth on the JD (looks like a girl), but I do agree with the others...you're going to want a bigger tank, maybe a 75, 90 even better.

I have had my male jd for the same amount of time as you and my jd is waaaaaay bigger than yours. But mine is a male. Nice looking fish btw

feed it more!! lol... jp hehe =).. good luck with the growth of it..

i would say she is at a normal size for a girl in a tank that size. looks like you have a male and a female jd. hope they dont pair up with that oscar in the tank. i would leave them in this tank and get the oscar a bigger home with some buddys. very nice tank setup oh and if the oscar was gone you would see alot better colors in the jacks. they look kinda stressed and thats probably why they are hiding.

thanks for the info. how long do you think the before the male will be old enough to mate with the female if i get the oscar out? i think this would be cool but i will have to do alot of research first.
