is my JD a male?

From what I've read he looks male but just want to make sure. He's about 4.5" right now. Should I expect this guy to grow 10"+ in the home aquarium? thanks

get a better shot of the side of the head, but from what i see id agree with it being a male. max size is depending on many things so just keep up on water changes and quality food and cross your fingers.

Cause males have the spangles all over there face and this does not. It looks just like my female jack

actually it is exactly opposite

males have a round spot on thier gil plate with NO spangles
female have a cluster of blue spangles on the gill plate
