According to the sticky, 2 teaspoons of salt per gallon to treat ich. I have a 150 w 2 small p-bass (2-2 1/2"). Noticed the white specks the other day, which I am told is ich. 300 teaspoons=100 tablespoons, 4 tablespoons =1/4 cup. This would = 6 1/4 cups of salt for my 150. It just seems like alot...if this is wrong or if the size of the bass is a factor, please let me know. Thanks folks

1 cup = 48 tsp. You need 300tsp.

That looks to me like a little more than 6 cups, so yes, your math is fine.

Dissolve the salt before putting it in the tank, don't just dump it in.

Raising the water temp to 80-83 is a good idea as well.
