When I came home today he was just laying on the gravel. All other fish are fine. I fed him some feeders on Saturday and fasted Sunday. Today he wouldn't eat all other fish ate. Also most of the fish ate the feeders too. I did add an extra light on Saturday I don't know if he's just stressed or sick. Is there any signs to look for. He is at least double the size of all the other fish so I don't think he's being picked on he rules the tank

My experience with my Oscar is that they do that sometimes, people say they "sulk". I would see if he starts acting normal again in a few hours. Mine has "laid" on the bottom of the tank on more than one occasion. Have you reached in to touch him and see if he swims off?

When I came in the room he swam up like he was going to eat. Then ignored the pellets and went back to the corner. He looks ok his breathing seems fine

Sometimes fish may look of but could be carrying a disease. That is one of the reasons why I don't feed my fish with live food. Hopefully that is not the case here. Good luck on the pellet training. If you haven't done so already you may want to do a water change and maybe bump up the heat and see if that helps. You can also try and turn out the lights maybe he is just sleepy. LOL

have you had him long enough to know his personality & how he reacts to "change"?
He might be sulking because of lights being different.
might have stuffed himself on feeders and be chilling, not interested in pellets too.
My O acts like a brat after he stuffs himself on special treats, loses interest in pellets.
He randomly sulks about changes or disturbances, not every time.
He's been sitting around bottom of tank all day today. I may have "bothered" him during water change last night.

Mine hates bright lights & acts withdrawn. So, being the Sucker I am, mostly use blue light. sometimes undersized white LED but he hates it.

If it's an illness caused by feeders you should start seeing other symptoms.
See if he looks normal when he does swim around. like if you disturb him enough to make him move.
but that might make him sulk more- depends on the fish.
