I went to go check on my tank and found my Oscar making a whole in the gravel. My Oscar is in a 75 gallon tank by herself. She keeps making the whole bigger and when I approach the tank she flares up and opens her mouth to make herself look bigger. She is right at a year old. I know if she lays eggs they won't hatch because there is not a male to fertilze the eggs, but it would be interesting to watch. If she does lay eggs then I know for sure she is a female and I could get her a male, but before I get carried away I am interested to see what you all have to say.
