IS my oscar normal

Man my first oscar was a menace and now this one at 13 inches lives with 3 inch kissing gouramis and 4 inch iridescent sharks and a crayfish and some regular oscar mates

Ya my friend got me into fish keeping with his 11inch oscar that would just kill or eat anything that got in the tank. i bought a oscar and have had him for 8 mon and as u can read in my signature he has a bunch of tank mates and the only fish so far that he dosent like is my silver Aro.

Ya my oscar is soo melow and i was under the impression they were at least semi aggresive.

yes most oscars aren't that aggressive... I went to a pet shop yesterday and I seen oscars chilling near small cichlids all close like they were cuddling.. I really think it was because there water conditions aren't nice...

If oscars are brought up on live feeders then the oscar will think that anything added to the tank is food. Most oscars get aggression issues when they reach adulthood and often kill their lifelong partners.

have two sets of oscars and have not witnessed outrageous agressive behavior other than when they are doing the mating thing.
