is my pbass monoc ok ?

ive had him around 2-3 month know but he has not grown much at all in my eyes i got him around 2.5"-3" and he is now 4" is this slow growth ?
hes in a 2ft tank the simple 2ft by 1ft by18" high tank with good filteration . he is eatting prawn and blood worm ive tryed JMC sinking pellets but they dont go well with him he dosent eat them what should i do or am i worrying to much ?


and im upgrading him to a 3ft by 15" by 15" soon aswell , for a cupple of months till he hits the 10" mark.

then ill go for a 5ft by 2ft by 2ft or bigger.

when he hits the 9" mark ill add a 6" perruno catfish and a oscar aswell, should they be ok with him all his life ?

i wouldnt worry about his growth. he'll hit a spurt here in a little bit. mine is about 3" and i've had him about 2 months. he was 1.5" when i got him.

Whats your water change and feeding schedule like? I know once he gets into the 5x2x2 hell have a growth spurt..

i had him on neons but im trying to keep off live food as he will soon be going in to a 3ft by 15" by 15" or a 4ft by 18" by 12" witch is pretty cool i gess for him and 2 oscars and 3-4 plecos and 2 gold fish ive got thell be food soon there masssive for gold fish there around 6"-8" monsters lol

i feed him blood worm 2 times a day and thats all he eats and some prawn when i treat him should i be feeding him prawn more ?

mine eats the heck out of frozen bloodworms and market shrimp. he fills his belly then he fills his mouth. he'll swim for about an hour with it in his mouth till his stomach makes room for more.

The optimal feeding should be 5x a day so 3x a day would be good. And a personal favorite of mine would be LARGE W/C. It's the key to a healthy start. At the stage your cichla is at these to factors will give you the result's your looking for.

1. cost alot and im on a low budget depending on how much i get lol (arnt we all )

2. it could give him a disese

3. not cheap lol.
