is my peacock sick?

i have about a 3-4 inch peacock (unknown) that has a couple small white specs, is this something i should be concerned with and what should i do?

Sounds like ick. It's a relatively easy fix, just crank the temp to 86, dose the salt correctly, add plenty of aeration, and treat for 12-14 days. Should clear up!

gradually bump the temp to 87-89.....add salt. I usually start w/ a 1/3-1/2 dose. And keep up on them wc's.

Do the white dots look like small grains of salt all over the fish? If so, ick! If not, maybe he is scrapping against a rock or they are scratches from a battle

Probably ick, it's very common. Do as Gangster says, and after keep your temp at 86f.
