9 inches. Currently being fed pellets, sticks, tilapia and shrimp.

sure, why would you think otherwise?

I have a friend with a 9 inch silver. He feeds almost exclusively FD krill. The pellets and sticks are a more rounded diet. Or so I'm told. Krill is suppose to be good for color and growth though. I'm no expert, I'm still trying to keep my three inch baby alive.

Don't feed FD krill to a 3" baby aro. Should be feeding FD blood worms. Even at 9" feeding FD krill exclusively can cause digestive issues and/or protruding anus.

That's my concern right there Brian. So I guess occassionally would be fine?

OK, The guy with the silver I was typing about...His just died. So much for FD Krill. I'm with GSHOCK, varied diet Keep it as fresh as possible. The processed sticks seem to be great And I've yet to hear of one dying from them. Can't find them near me, Don't know why.

Sorry to hear that. I got mine at around 4 inches. I broke the sticks into small pieces, soaked it until soft then feed it. I gradually varied his diet as he grows. Right now he's still ignoring the krill but likes the cricket. He'll eat it eventually.
