where the corruption never ends
I have my silver arowana for 6 months now. I bought him on april at 8-9" and he's now at 16". Do you think his growth is fine? or something is wrong?. He has some slight DE on his right eye, but it didn't started to get serious when I started to feed him once/twice a week.

Average growth for a silver aro is 1 to 1.5" per month. Yours falls right in the average.

Yeah, He grows like 2" per month when I first bought him, but I noticed that DE starts to grow on his right eye, so I started to feed him once or twice a week and the DE does not grow anymore.

yea yours is average

aros don't have a constant growth rate. it will grow that fast in his first two years and will eventually slow down.

Why only once or twice a week? That is VERY unhealthy for small arowanas... Should feed them about once a day till they hit 20" then about every three days. No one knows exactly what causes drop eye.
