Sorry about the bad drawing I used Paint to make it haha. Is it possible to build that into a 135gal tank without risking the integrity of they glass?

you mean drilling holes in it? There is a rule of thumb how far from the edge to be given the diamiter
Yes I would like to drill holes. I would drill probably 2 inches from the top and maybe 4 inches from the sides...
