I have seen some people refer to texas/devil hybrids as "Red Texas"
What is the accepted opinion?
I have a Texas/Devil hybrid that looks like a "Red Texas" with nice coloring and pearls.

I would say you got a beautiful fish there. I would say it very much looks like a red texas to me. Either way it's a nice looking fish. I have a red devil that I would like to try to breed and maybe make some of these. Would be fun! Good luck with your fish!

I got 8 frys at my lfs for $3 and this was the alpha of the group and the only one to have pearls not only on the fins
but across the body as well :)

I think its a type of red tex. There are so many combos out there to make them. I prefer using red devils/ midas instead of parrots theres a better chance the males will be fertile. Sweet fish by the way!!!!
