Is my Tiger Shovelnose growling at me??

I keep 3 cats together, a Red Tail (about 5") a Tiger Shovelnose, (about 6") and a cat I bought as a Jaguar (about 6"). The Jaguar looks like a cross between the RTC and Shovelnose. I keep them with a few S.Amer. Cichlids, (yes it is crowded) , Anyway sometimes when one of my fish gives my Tiger a hassle, I swear I hear a low growl, Am I trippin or has anyone had a similar experience?

no your not trippin most catfish can make that sound its when they get scared or in danger

I read that a guy found his lima made that noise when lifted out of the warter.

i noticed that when i move my pleco's they make a clicking noise, especially my 18". the first time i heard it i was like WTF, is my fish going into convulsions, cause it was shakin like hell when it did it.

Larger Rapheals make a loud "snork"too.

They make the sound when they are stressed or angry.

Haha, I've had catfish growl at me when i go fishing, but the only ones I have at my house are corries, so I probably won't be able to experience this at home.
