Is New Life Spectrum all that?

I've recently started using NLS exclusively for a trial with some fry and brood mbuna. I'm curious as to what the experience with this food is in the community. Is it really all that?
I find the smell of garlic in my tanks somewhat annoying....

Ive never noticed a garlic smell except for the Thera-A formula. I have been using NLS for about 4 months and my fish really like it, I have also noticed better color in some of the fish.

Its a really good High quality food.Reently a few other companies have stepped up and started putting out really good foods as well.IMO freshness is a major factor.

Its a good dry food, Id rank it in the top 5 or so brands. But IMO its not the miracle food alot portray it to be. IME its certainly no better than brands like Hikari or Omega One.

IME my fish seem to like NLS better than hikari and Omega One, but I agree that they are all good brands.

Best food out there. My fish love it, doesn't cloud my water, same price as any of the other big brands and best of all, the colors of my fish are as bright as can be.

I use the 1mm sinking cichlid formula. Every time I open the lid on my tanks, I get whif that would knock a garlic farmer on his backside. I can only imagine what the therapeutic formulae would do.

No argument, this is the favourite food of my cichlids. After a week on this stuff I get a facewash every feeding time!
