Is pvc pipe cement fish safe?

Is pvc pipe cement fish safe? I am making a sump and was just wondering if it is fish safe.

I've used the cement AND the pipe cleaner on multiple tanks for fittings and random fish projects, so far haven't had any issues with it. It should all evaporate and be fine once its dry.

I agree. I've seen it even run not completely dry with no ill effects screwy, but I'd play it safe.

I cured my PVC pipes stuck together with cement for one hour and I didn't have any issues at all. But if you want to play it safe, give it 24 hours.
