Is rainbow snakehead a jumper?

I was wondering if i could move my channa bleheri to an open-top tank, with 2" from the water surface to the top of the glass.
I have him in my 200G and he is not getting along with someone, his fins are a little ripped....

I was going to move him but wanted to be sure if they are jumpers or not

I don't think I would. As far as I know, all Snakeheads are jumpers, they all breath atmospheric air therefore they frequent the surface alot and have the ability to cross short distances on moist land.

my channa micropeltis dosent jump (yet) but he can have a good old thrash around if thats any help

Channa bleheri is one of the ones that I see moor my snakehead jumped out the tank threads than any other. They have an ability to even get through small gaps in lids.

Found 1 of mine at the front door yesterday got up to go work there he was,thought it was dead two mins back in the tank he was fine swimming round.He got through a 1.5inch gap.Yea they can jump!!

When I had mine, I had 2 jump. If you think your tank is covered well enough, it isn't. If they can fit through a hole, they will. Best to drop the water level a little bit too. When the first one jumped, I put him back in the tank, but he didn't make it. Found out, as many of you probably know, you have to put them in water that is shallow on one end, and deeper on the other so they can easily breath air until their gills can ungum.

Yes, they jump. I have personal experience with them jumping...
