Is she ready for breeding?

I have this flowerhorn here a female ZZ and I want to breed her with my male. My male is 6-7 inches and she is closer to 4 inches. You think she is ready I have no clue of knowing how old she is or when she will be ready to breed.

Just did and he is freakin out. I put in a divider he is so scared of it. Maybe it will just take some time. He looks really stressed

Weird, he isn't attacking her. He is just chasing her a bit then going to the other side of the tank and
fanning and head shaking at a certain corner of the tank. He obviously dosent want to hurt her because I once put a convict in there and if I didn't take it out he would have killed it. So I guess he likes her haha now it's just for her to like him...
