Is something wrong with my FH?

Usually when I approach my FH it swims up to me for food. As of today when I approach him he panics and darts around hitting the sides of the tank, then he hides in a corner. Is something wrong with him?

Yeah hes in a 60 gallon tank by himself

What are the water parameters? Is the tank next to the TV/Stereo?

they get skittish when stressed or scared

Sometimes the vibrations from the tv can freak out the fish. I always keep my tank far away from the tv/stereo. Sound travels through water 4x faster than air.

I've had him next to the tv for a month now and this is the first time he is freaking out. I've also noticed that he has gotten darker
