Is the blood parrot a male or female ??

I have a female convict that try's over and over to mate with the bp but the never do so I'm wondering if there both females ?

Usually you can tell in the fins, and it looks like my female. But you can vent it to make sure like he sId

The ONLY way to tell the sex of a Blood Parrot is to vent it. You cannot visually look at it and determine the sex of it.
