Is the Eheim Pro 3 Worth the $500 Price Tag?

- If it matters, which it really shouldn't, its for a 125 gal tank

Same for me. I wouldn't spend that much on a filter unless it cleaned my tank and itself. Heck, it would even have to clean my room!! LOL!!

Depends on the price you will pay. I paid 319 filled. I think mine is great, and intend to buy one of the pro 3e 2078 models soon.

That's exactly where I got my price tag of $500. Filter+Media+Shipping will come out to about $500. Thanks for the heads up tho

As I stated, I paid $319 filled. Talk to your LFS, they should go to local shows, and often eheim will be there. Eheim runs deals on almost all of their equipment every couple of months, and that is when I bought mine. I had to wait 2 weeks, but it was worth it.

I feal that the Eheim filters are great I would shop around before buy.
