i got this filter for the brackish tank im setting up. i just wanted to make sure its gona be ok in salt water before i use it.

is the fluval 3 plus safe with marine salt?

No where does it say it can't be used for salt water. But for the price i would go with the ac110.
To me it just looks like a small powerhead with a foam filter attatched. It should be fine for your setup.
ok, iv been told by a lfs guy that it will be fine but i dont know how much i can trust lfs ppl... hence the need for forums like this lol. thanks and iv already bought it so im gone pass on the ac110
