I have a polarized lense for a camera that I am using to check my glass. When I tried it on a rear car window it showed some wavy dark and light spots. When I used it to check the aquarium glass, it looks like these pictures. The screen is clear until I get the lense off at a really high angle and then the screen goes dark. However, if I look at the screen at that same angle without looking through the aquarium glass it goes dark then too.

Can someone a bit more experienced than me give a little insight, please? Also, please let me know if I am not doing this right.

Thank you all!

when you look through it you will see the roller marks from the heating process, don't take my word though and the best way to tell it call the manufacturer, and what is the tank size?

It's an O'Dell tank so I'm not able to call them. Lol

Thanks for the info. I did end up looking at the bottom of the 55 I bought for the dump and it is definitely tempered. Since I now had something to compare the 220 to I am able to tell that it's not tempered.
