Is the horn on the Endlicheri will be lost?

Hello all..
I have a 8 inc endlicheri platinum, and these fish don't disappear horns,
maybe horns will still be there forever?
How do you experience all?

I get this fish about 6 months ago, the size is 3 inc. I feed these fish with minnows or frozen shrimp.

that is an external gill when it gets older and the lungs are more developed it will go away.

So I've heard somewhere before that the oxygen level of your water can effect how long the poly keeps their external gills. How viable do u think that theory is?

Water quality (which yes also includes O2 levels).

Not necessarily, external gills don't necessarily "fall off" at the same time.
