'Lo, got 2 tiger oscars, 1 red oscar, 1 albino oscar, 1 pleco and 2 red bay snook in a 120 gallon tank. The filtration on this tank is massive (about 1100 gph in 1 canister, 2 R-UGF, 2 bio-wheels, and a UV steralizer) By fish size my tank goes like this (Tiger Oscar 6" - 8", Red bay snook both about 5" - 7", Albino Oscar 4" - 5", Tiger oscar 3" - 4", pleco 4" and red oscar 2"- 3") I have had them all for almost the same size, and knew that the large tiger oscar would be dominent, but my red oscar seems to have gotten gimped somewhere. He is very small, yesterday I noticed him actually laying on the bottom (right side up, but like he was sitting down or something) and today when I fed my fish he didnt eat. He went up and looked at the food floating, but ate only a few pellets then spat them back out and went back down. I'm feeding my fish Hikari Cichlid Gold (great food! great color on the Tiger's now) small pellets. I have not seen my red oscar getting bullied (one nice slam from the smaller tiger oscar, but it was simply because the red oscar was investigating a frog that the tiger wanted to eat). He is not missing any scales or flesh, and has no visible sickness like parasites or ich or anything. he still swims around the tank and is fairly active, but a lot smaller and a lot slower then the other fish. Sticks to himself while the others kind of group together. Any ideas?

I think hes bullied u got alot of o in there and the smallest 1 must stay subordanant to the big ones . u might want to take him out and fatten him up in another tank so he can be of competative size .
