ok im going to pick up some pool filter sand and i was wonder what the best way to hold my fish while i am taking the gravel out and putting the sand in???
thanks you guys

unless the packaging says so it should be fine. I some from a spa place but it was a little pricey. You can get the sand used for sandblasting cheap and it is clean

When I changed to PFS in my 75, I put the fish in a spare 20 gallon I had and moved the sponge filter from my 75 over with them. They were there maybe an hour or two at most while I switched things around

i got mine from a pool place, on the package it says mystic white as the brand, and it says not for sandblasting. and they look like crystals. hope i got the right stuff LOL. it was 9.95

o ok thanks you guys
did u put a heater with them?
No, it was the middle of the summer in an un-air-conditioned house. I normally have a problem keeping the temp down, not up. Even if it was cooler, in that short of an amount of time, I doubt the water would have cooled down enough to matter. They really didn't even need the filter either, I only put it in there for aeration
