Is the thickness enough

Will be ordering a tank soon
The tank is 5l x2.5w x 2h
Wonder if 12mm normal glass is enough? Since I will only fill up to 20 inches max
Or is 12mm tempered better
Help would be highly appreciated

Plate glass, aka flat, sheet, or float glass of 12mm thickness is fine for a tank 2 feet high with your dimensions assuming appropriate bracing is used.
