My Armatus seems to have snapped one of it's fangs in half as it caught a fish this morning.It now has uneven front fangs! I have seen them get their teeth knocked loose and out of their mouths but never this so I'm wondering if the length will grow to even out with the unaffected tooth or will it just eventually fall out.
Is there a dentist in the house?

Never seen one broke in half so I can't speak from exact experience. More than likely I'd suspect it will fall out and be replaced. I find the hydrolycus species truely amazing to have the ability to shed and regrow their teeth and not just fangs all of them. The frequencey that I'm seeing with my scomb is mindboggling all most shark like.

They probably are but this one place has had a few of them since the spring and this is the last one that they have left...Have you dropped by TFP lately,do they have any interesting oddballs that you've noticed?Otherone;4616894; said:

Well it looks like the tooth is finally loosening and going to come out....along with the other one now.He must have bumped his mouth on something because both teeth are slanted backwards.
